Case Study: GASCADE - Predicting Internal Corrosion in Renewal Biogas Systems for Increased Pipeline Reliability

GASCADE Gastransport GmbH partnered with Dynamic Risk to investigate the internal corrosion susceptibility of a biogas line. The principal challenges associated with biogas transportation involve the consistent control of non-methane constituents, notably water content, and the maintenance of continuous flow. Despite these challenges, methodologies exist to enable operators to anticipate locations prone to internal corrosion. Our case study showcases the outcomes of Dynamic Risk’s Internal Corrosion Predictive Analysis methodology and the benefits of adopting this approach for increased pipeline reliability.
