Shamus McDonnell
President
Shamus has over 30 years of pipeline integrity experience including data collection, correlation and validation through excavation for a variety of pipeline integrity inspections including leak surveys, depth of cover surveys, cathodic protection & coating inspections, and inline inspections. Shamus has previous experience as a consultant to PHMSA (USA Pipeline Regulator) as ILI SME on numerous pipeline failures in the USA, and previous technology development experience covered with patents in the Americas, Australia, New Zealand, and the EU for innovations in cathodic protection, coating surveys, and large standoff magnetometry inspections.
Patrick Vieth
Senior Vice President – Technical Services
Patrick has over 30 years of experience solving problems related to materials, corrosion, fitness for service, and reliability with primary focus on the production, transportation and distribution energy pipeline network. He has led and supported numerous notable projects related to incident responses, return to service, and leading industry-wide initiatives requiring complex interdisciplinary solutions involving many stakeholders. He earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering from The Ohio State University. Patrick serves in several industry leadership roles including ASME (Board of Governors), PRC International (Executive Assembly), Qualification Panel for the Pipeline Industry (QPPI), and serving as an Advisor to Young Pipeliners International (YPI) and Young Pipeline Professionals USA (YPP USA).
Ben Mittelstadt
Vice President, Strategic Growth
Ben Mittelstadt has over 20 years of experience related to engineering, project management, and integrity management of pipelines. As Vice President, Strategic Growth, Ben is responsible for supporting Dynamic Risk’s key clients in achieving their strategic goals. Ben spent the first 12 years of his career supporting all aspects of pipeline integrity management with two gas pipeline operators. This experience included six years of field experience directly supporting in-service pipeline engineering, project management, construction, and integrity assessments. At Dynamic Risk, Ben has focused on the development, execution, and improvement of integrity management programs, as well as working with pipeline operators in support of regulatory interpretation, compliance, and incident response. Ben earned a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Colorado State University in 2001, and he is a registered Professional Engineer in Texas.
Wesley Allanbrook
Vice President, Technology and Product Management
Mr. Allanbrook has over 20 years of experience in Pipeline Integrity, Risk Modelling, and ILI Analysis & Planning. As Vice President, Technology and Product Management, Mr. Allanbrook is responsible for creating and executing Dynamic Risk’s strategic vision for technology and software development, defining the product roadmap, and supporting the engineering teams through technology-enabled solutions.
Wesley gained experience during his time working for oil and gas operators. He was involved in developing and improving integrity management systems, increasing data integration, and enhancing integrity workflows. He performed engineering assessments for advanced ILI technologies (UHR MFL, EMAT, UT-C and UT-ML) and pressure cycle fatigue analysis for liquid pipelines and has been a team member involved in the response to major pipeline failures.
Mr. Allanbrook is a member of PRCI, NACE and INGAA. He possesses a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
Phil Michailides
Vice President, Operations
Phil brings more than 20 years of diverse experience with advanced skills in strategy, operations, program and project management and people leadership. In addition to his B.Sc. in Petroleum Engineering, Phil earned his Masters and Ph.D. in Engineering Management from the U of A. Prior industry experience includes leadership roles with several pipeline operators. Phil’s focus is to ensure efficiencies for our clients are gained through the application of technology, process and continuous improvement and effectiveness is realized through technical discipline, quality management and project delivery. As a member of our Executive Leadership Team, we will look to Phil to contribute his strategic thinking, data driven decision making and agile problem solving.
Phillip Nidd
Director, Major Projects
Phillip has over 35 years of technical and management experience in the oil and gas pipeline industry, related to operations, asset management, identification of pipeline threats, pipeline threat assessment and risk management applications. Phillip also has extensive experience in the areas of litigation support, failure investigation, document controls and regulatory response. He is responsible for developing engineering solutions, management of large and/or sensitive projects, and working closely with the Company’s large US-based clients in account management functions.
Tracey Murray
Vice President, Sales & Marketing
Tracey brings over 15 years of experience in her role as Vice President, Sales and Marketing. She has spent her career predominantly within the energy industry working for global technology companies, focused on strategic growth and market expansion through a streamlined sales and marketing approach.
Tracey holds her Bachelor of Management in Business, with a minor in International Marketing.
Treasa Ashir
Director, People & Culture
Treasa brings 20 years of experience to her role as Director, People & Culture. Her expertise covers all areas of Human Resources, including leadership coaching, organization development, employee relations, compensation, talent development, and continuous performance management. In her previous roles, she has helped companies through times of change, including mergers & acquisitions and organizational changes.
Treasa thrives in a fast-paced environment where she can partner with business leaders on strategic goals and culture initiatives. She strives for continuous improvement and seeks opportunities for creativity and innovation. Treasa is responsible for developing and executing a talent strategy that supports our business goals.
Kevin Fawns
Director, Finance
Kevin Fawns has over 15 years’ experience managing the finances of various sized organizations. He has spent a number of years with oilfield service companies with operations in Canada and the United States. He has been a part of large system implementations and process improvement projects and is always looking to create efficiencies. Kevin has a strong focus on leadership, strategic execution, and is a role model for leading effective change.
Kevin graduated from the University of Calgary with a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in accounting and holds a Chartered Professional Accountant (Chartered Accountant) designation.
