Trevor MacFarlane, M.Sc., P.Eng
President
Trevor has 25 years of pipeline operations, engineering and business experience. He holds a Master of Science in Metallurgical Engineering from Queen’s University and is recognized as a leading authority in risk and integrity management. With accountability for corporate strategy Trevor is responsible for positioning Dynamic Risk as a thought leader in the pipeline and facilities integrity industry. His experience and leadership ensure that Dynamic Risk continues to evolve IRAS to provide our clients with leading edge integrity management software and services.

Darren Shearer, B.Sc.
Senior Vice President – Technology
Darren leads a team of software development and implementation professionals who develop and implement innovative solutions to meet the evolving needs of our clients and the industry. He is responsible for executing Dynamic Risk’s digital strategy and IRAS’ development roadmap. Darren advocates for innovative ideas and researches new technologies that improve product performance.

Patrick Vieth, B.Sc.
Senior Vice President – Technical Services
Patrick has 25 years of experience solving problems related to materials, corrosion, fitness for service, and reliability with primary focus on the production, transportation and distribution pipeline network. He earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering from The Ohio State University and is actively involved in ASME (B31.4 and the Pipeline Systems Division). Patrick leads the Dynamic Risk USA operations headquartered in The Woodlands (Houston), TX. and provides leadership, technical support and regulatory expertise to ensure the capabilities of IRAS meet our end user’s evolving needs for pipeline risk management.

Phillip Nidd
Vice President – Technical Services
Phillip has over 35 years of technical and management experience in the oil and gas pipeline industry, related to operations, asset management, identification of pipeline threats, pipeline threat assessment and risk management applications. Phillip also has extensive experience in the areas of litigation support, failure investigation, document controls and regulatory response. He is responsible for developing engineering solutions, management of large and/or sensitive projects, and working closely with the Company’s large US-based clients in account management functions.

Don Chesniak
Vice President – Client Success
Don has 20 years in customer-facing leadership roles within the oil and gas industry. Don’s role is to maximize our software value and success of Dynamic Risk customers. He leads the execution of Dynamic Risk’s entire customer experience including onboarding, knowledge transfer, support, and ongoing customer implementation. Don works closely with our clients to improve organizational outcomes and performance and ensure effective use of the IRAS applications for pipeline risk management.

Joshua Pendleton, B.A., B.GIS
Vice President – Business Development
For over 12 years, Josh has led and advised on complex technical projects in pipeline risk and integrity management that focus on software integration, Geographic Information Systems and risk assessment. As Vice President, Business Development, Josh leads our Client Partnership Management and Business Development teams, both of which are dedicated to ensuring our clients realize the full value of their investment with Dynamic Risk. Josh and his team work closely with internal and external partners to ensure we are providing industry leading solutions, applications and support.
