ASME Board of Governors Appointment

Patrick Vieth, Senior Vice President, Dynamic Risk selected to serve on the ASME Board of Governors.

The American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) has selected Patrick Vieth, Senior Vice President at Dynamic Risk to serve on the Board of Governors for a 4-year term which began in June 2021. The society consists of 12 Board Members with over 110,000 members in more than 150 countries worldwide.

Patrick has been an active member of ASME since 1989, when he first joined his local ASME Chapter in Central Ohio. Since that time, Patrick has held various leadership positions and become more involved in the ASME Pipeline Systems Division and the Codes and Standards Committees. In addition, he has supported learning and development initiatives through the International Pipeline Conference (IPC), an ASME sponsored conference, serving recently as Conference Chair. Patrick currently serves as Chair of the Board for the IPC Foundation.
